There are places whose history is never lost. Once, Lastva stood on this coast. Then the Venetian fortress of Kastel was built here, and through time Petrovac carried the name Kastel-Lastva — known in everyday speech as Castio. Centuries passed. Names changed. The sea remained the same. Today, the historic name returns to its place — in a new form.
